The walk walk from Heathcote to Engadine was the same route for the first half as the route I did a few weeks ago
The walk started by descending towards the pools where there were lots of people swimming in the crystal clear waters. Following that, I then continued to follow the track until I broke off towards Engadine. Along the way I thought I saw a couple of snakes – one was a tail that disappeared under a log – the other turned out to be a Burton’s snake lizard.
After descending the metal staircases into the valley, there were some more pools which I cooled myself off in by splashing some water on my face. From here, it was a climb up a rough track and then a walk over to the Engadine station
