I wasn’t expecting much from Canal city but had gone along there for something to do. There were lots of shops but every 1/2 hour they also played a show with the fountains and a light display which was actually really entertaining. Sadly, me recording this used up most of my phone battery; I had been planning of going to the food stalls but bailed on that idea and ate in canal city. I got tempura which was okay but not a great meal and then made my way back to the hostel, hoping my phone wouldn’t give out completely.
