Nijo castle was a very large complex with huge building again. I believe the gardens were free of cheaper to access and to go in the buildings cost more. I decided to go in the buildings which were alright to see but it didn’t feel particularly worth it, especially as photos were prohibited.
After leaving the main buildings, there were gardens around the outside that were beautiful to see – I managed to go the wrong way around the route though somehow!
