When wandering up to Nijo castle, I spotted on the map a manga museum (animated books) and decided to stop in for a look at what was there. The entrance fee was about 800 yen. There were many bookcases throughout the building, all filled with a variety of manga books people could take off the shelves.
I had a look through a couple of the books which they had including Pokemon and Wolverine. There were quite a few sections talking about the history and explaining what Manga was and looking at how it evolved over time.
It was an unusual place for me to visit, it was intriguing but I didn’t find it that relevant due to the language barriers and not following manga.
