The record for tonkatsu has been pretty strong this holiday with them holding the top two spaces so I knew it would be tough competition. I’d read a blog which places Tonki above Katsukura in Kyoto so I thought it was worth a go.
The food again was really good but it didn’t feel as good as Katsukura for me though. I’m sure it’s really subjective and I can see you won’t be disappointed by the food.
