Kanmangafuchi Abyss was a little walk away from the temples as first I had to get down the mountain, then walk along the gorge. The gorge itself though was beautiful and crystal clear the whole way.
Kanmangafuchi Abyss seemed to be a walk alongside the gorge that also had some statues along the way. It was a lovely place to visit though and the rapids and falls were lovely.
It had been misting throughout the day and so clambering over the rocks in places was a little sketchy buy I managed to get out without any falls but a couple of close calls.
Along the way back there was also a dragonfly sat on a stick which I got some nice photos of. It tried to fly a couple of times but I think because of the weather his wings may have been too wet.
As the Kanmangafuchi Abyss was a little out the way I wasn’t sure how worth it it would be but a really I really enjoyed the walk and outstanding scenery.
