When I arrived in Kinosaki I was told that the onsens weren’t opened as usual due to it being a holiday which is worth being aware of. With that said, it was a Sunday afternoon and at around 4pm it seemed everyone started visiting and they remained open until 7pm although usually they would be open much later. There were 7 different onsens in Kinosaki and I wanted to try to visit them all! I managed to get around them, although I felt the first Onsen was more luxurious and I really relaxed but by the end, I just felt exhausted – my original plan was to do some that evening and some the next day although I passed on this due to wanting to leave early the next day.
