At one of my previous jobs, every month on a Friday they did a team building event that was actually a good way to break out of the work cycle. For one of these afternoons we went terrarium making.
The place where we went was a big open warehouse with the guy running the event seeming creative and like he ran many sessions out of there. He was laid back but also good at what he did. He explained how you layered the moss with the pebbles, sand and stone and then what to plant and how to look after them.
I wasn’t fussed going into the event but actually would recommend having done it.
