I had been planning a day trip initially today but after how little I did in how long on my first day in Tokyo, I decided another day in the city itself would be worth it. I’d been chatting to a couple of Swedish guys until late the night before and so struggled to get up as early as I’d have liked but left about 10ish to go to a Cat Temple. It was a little out the way but something I was keen to do as it seemed a bit different from the cities hustle and bustle.
From reading on the internet, I thought they provided shelter for cats and was expecting to walk in and be surrounded by a hoard. Unfortunately it wasn’t the case – if they did have any cats, I couldn’t find them. They did though have a few areas full of cat ornaments which were nice to see and the temple grounds themselves were quite pretty too.
